CAMPING & ACCOMMODATION

If you managed to grab a camping ticket then Congrats! You will be staying on a beautifully located camping field just a short stroll from the main festival arena. There's loos, water and amazing instagram enhancing opportunities abound! There are no showers, dogs are welcome, you can bring your own food & drink into the camping area but not into the festival. There is no car drop off, but the car park is 50 yards down the road so just a short walk. No glass, BBQs, gazebos, fires, drugs or weapons allowed. You can access the campsite from midday on Thursday 6th July 2023.

You can also rent beautifully equipped tipis from Belle Hotel!

If you've opted for the day tickets then there are two other great campsites in the valley; Fisherground and Eskdale campsite, DAlegarthcampsite, Hollinheadcampsite and loads of pubs, BnB's, Hotels etc in the near surrounding area. Check them out here.

PARKING

All tickets include free parking. The parking field is adjacent to the festival field, and a 50 yard walk from the camping field.

GETTING HERE

EskFest benefits from being held in a beautiful, fairly remote location. The flipside of this is that getting here will need a bit of thought. See the map on the 'Contact' Page to have a look at where we are if you don't know already. By car, we strongly suggest avoiding the Hardknott and Wrynose passes and instead recommend routes over Birker Fell and on the A595 coast road. You can get into eskdale via train by arriving into Ravenglass and then taking the famous "la'al Ratty" steam train into Dalegarth station. Please note the Ratty does not operate on sundays. We will have a regular shuttle bus service up and down the valley from the king george IV Inn right down to The Festival Field by the Woolpack Inn. The shuttle bus will cost £1 per journey and does not need to be booked in advance. The last bus is at 1.30am.

KIDS

Kids are more than welcome at EskFest - we have plenty of entertainment on for younger festival goers and families will enjoy the friendly atmosphere! Kids 12 and under qualify for the cheaper ticket option. All guests aged 16 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
