EskFest benefits from being held in a beautiful, fairly remote location. The flipside of this is that getting here will need a bit of thought. By car, we strongly suggest avoiding the Hardknott and Wrynose passes and instead recommend routes over Birker Fell and on the A595 coast road. You can get into eskdale via train by arriving into Ravenglass and then taking the famous "la'al Ratty" steam train into Dalegarth station. Please note the Ratty does not operate on sundays. We will have a regular shuttle bus service up and down the valley from the king george IV Inn right down to The Festival Field by the Woolpack Inn. The shuttle bus will cost £1 per journey and does not need to be booked in advance.
